Hydrangeas are easy & satisfying to grow.

They are heavy bloomers, from mid-summer to late fall. Some of them even change colors based on your soil PH. Acidic soils with a pH of less than 5.5 produce blue flowers; soils with a pH greater than 5.5 product pink flowers.

White flowers are not affected by pH. To change the color to more blue lower your pH, add garden sulfur or aluminum sulfate to your soil. To raise the pH to more pink, use ground lime. White hydrangeas will stay white. Our Garden Center can help you choose the proper product to add.  Click here or here to read more in-depth information about Hydrangeas
